Studying Drew Struzan, the genius behind THE classic 80's movie posters, I thought his montage compositions would work well as 'Polytraits': portraits with multiple views of the same person.

To me, the crosshatching and natural media effects make his posters dance like a movie in themselves; a liveliness now sadly missing as digital replaced painting.

I found a technique with watercolour pencils over acrylics that approximated Struzan's airbrush and mixed it with a 'Miami' colour palette.
